Wedding Star is an annual wedding magazine that comes out in January and is on the stands for the next 12 months. This year I was lucky enough to get a featured wedding in there! The wedding of Amie and Sonny was chosen as one of three in the ’09 issue! This is the first wedding I photographed after graduating photography school, so it is kinda cool that it got picked. I shot this wedding with Christina Craft, who is now a co-owner of Funkytown Photography. Their studio also had another wedding featured in this magazine too! We had no idea that we were being featured in the same magazine so that was super cool.
Wedding Star also has a sister magazine which is Wedding Star Lifestyle, and in that magazine the wedding of Kristen and Bob (Tristan and I photographed their wedding this past summer) is featured. I don’t have a shot of that layout but I do have an image of Amie and Sonny’s wedding. Check out the magazines if you get a chance!
